      1. Day 01

        Arrival | Quito

        Arrive in Quito and transfer to your hotel. Overnight. 
      2. Day 02

        Quito | Machachi

        Escape the bustle of Quito for a tranquil hour's drive south, arriving at a welcoming Hacienda nestled within the scenic Machachi Valley. This idyllic setting, dotted with verdant dairy farms, offers a genuine glimpse into the daily life of the Andean region. Begin your Hacienda experience with a guided tour of the grounds, followed by an unforgettable two-hour horseback ride. Traverse historic cobblestone roads and winding trails, leading you to the remarkable La Viudita viewpoint, where you'll be treated to sweeping views of the valley and the stunning Andes landscape. Afterward, return to the Hacienda house to freshen up before enjoying a delicious, authentic lunch, graciously hosted by the Hacienda owner. The afternoon features a special demonstration by the Chagras, showcasing their impressive equestrian and working skills. As the day winds down, relish a dinner prepared with fresh, local Andean ingredients before settling into your comfortable room for a peaceful night's sleep (L,D) 
      3. Day 03

        Latacunga | Avenue of the Volcanoes

        After a hearty breakfast, we head south once more along the Pan-American Highway, making our way to the city of Latacunga. Our first stop is a nearby hacienda—a remarkable colonial estate built atop the ruins of an ancient Inca site. From there, we visit a traditional rose plantation, showcasing one of the region's most iconic exports. We then continue on to Latacunga, where we explore a vibrant local market brimming with colorful produce and lively scenes of daily life. After enjoying a flavorful Andean lunch en route, we resume our journey south along the famous “Avenue of the Volcanoes,” eventually arriving at another charming colonial hacienda for a restful night.       4. Day 04

        Baños | Route of the Waterfalls

        After a hearty breakfast, we set out to explore the beautiful region of Baños, a charming village nestled at the foot of the active Tungurahua Volcano. We'll stroll through the town and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, soaking in the area's unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, we embark on an exciting drive along the Pastaza River Canyon, famously known as the “Route of the Waterfalls,” where dramatic landscapes and cascading falls make for unforgettable views. Following this scenic adventure, we return to the hacienda for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay. (B,L,D)
      5. Day 05

        Chimborazo

        After breakfast, we head back into the heart of the Andean mountains, circling the base of Mount Chimborazo, the highest peak in the Ecuadorian Andes (6,310 meters / 20,702 feet). The drive offers stunning views and a great chance to spot vicuñas grazing on the vast gravel plains. A picnic lunch will be provided by the Hacienda, allowing us to take in the scenery. In the afternoon, we journey north toward the province of Cotopaxi, making a stop at a local workshop known for its traditional ceramic crafts. Our next destination is a historic hacienda, where a 300-year-old mansion has been transformed into a charming hotel. Take some time to explore the grounds of this beautiful estate before enjoying a delightful dinner. Overnight stay at the hacienda. (B,L,D) 
      6. Day 06

        Cotopaxi National Park | Quito

        After breakfast, we head out for Cotopaxi National Park, where we’ll arrive at a working Hacienda dedicated to cattle farming, producing both milk and meat. Upon arrival, we'll be outfitted with riding chaps, ponchos, and sturdy hats, ready for an exciting horseback riding adventure across the vast meadows of Rumiñahui, a majestic mountain in the Ecuadorian Andes. After our exhilarating ride, we return to the Hacienda for a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, we begin our journey back to Quito, making a stop at a historic hacienda on the outskirts of the city, nearly overtaken by urban growth. Here, we’ll enjoy a traditional cup of coffee and freshly baked bread before continuing our drive back to your hotel in Quito. (B,L)
