      Split

Today you will get acquainted with the wines of Croatia. The first stop will be at Bibich winery. Located in the hills of Skradin, along Croatia’s coast and across the Adriatic from Italy, it is roughly in line with the wine hills of Tuscany. Here you will have the opportunity to learn how their wine is produced, and to enjoy a wine tasting session. Continue to Bedalov’s winery. Located in Kaštel Kambelovac, Jakša Bedalov is continuing the tradition of hospitality and winemaking that has been present in his family for over 400 years. Enjoy a wine tasting session, accompanied by lunch on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight in Split. (B,L)
    3. Day 03

      Split | Dubrovnik

This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. Transfer to Dubrovnik for overnight. (B)
    4. Day 04

      Dubrovnik

Morning walking tour of “Old Dubrovnik”. See the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column, Sponza Palace, the Dominican Monastery and the Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. In the afternoon, you will be introduced to the cuisine of Croatia. Under the guidance of your gracious host, you will first make some bread. As the bread rises, you will walk through the garden to pick the rest of the ingredients needed to prepare a delicious meal that you will enjoy while tasting some of the best locally produced wines. (B,D)
    5. Day 05

      Dubrovnik | Ston | Korcula | Dubrovnik

Today’s excursion will take you first to Ston, a charming town known for its delicious oysters and salt production still harvested by hand and then loaded onto wagons for distribution. After tasting some oysters accompanied by wine, you will drive to Orebić, where a ferry will take you to Korčula. Surrounded by walls and towers, this small little town attracts visitors from all over the world. Thanks to the centuries-old tradition of stone processing, the Old Town was built in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries to what it is now, by the most renowned masters of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. Korčula has a legendary past, deemed by many as Marco Polo’s birthplace, and before that, as home to one of the Homeric heroes. Return to Dubrovnik for overnight at hotel. (B)
